Osiris[1] -is vel -idis m. (Aegyptie Wzỉrj,[2] prius fere /wVˈs’iːrVj/, dein /uˈsiːr(ǝ)/) est nomen dei in religione Aegyptii vitae aeternae, mortis fertilitatisque. Frater fuit Isis, Nephthys, et Seth.[3] Macedones qui Aegypto potiti sunt Osiridem deo Dionyso adsimulavere[4].
