Lablab purpureus (binomen a Roberto Sweet post Linnaeum anno 1826 statutum) est species plantarum leguminosarum, ex Africa orientali oriunda, quae propter semina edulia ab aevo antiquo colitur. Latinitate communi phaseolus niger sive et lablab nuncupatur.
