Maunt Ogastasas[1] (angl. Mount Augustus, 'Augusto kalnas') – kalnas Australijoje, Vakarų Australijos valstijos šiaurės vakarų dalyje, apie 850 km į šiaurę nuo Perto, 320 km į rytus nuo Karnarvono miesto, to paties pavadinimo Maunt Ogastaso nacionaliniame parke.

Kalno aukštis siekia 1106 m virš jūros lygio arba apie 860 m virš aplinkinės lygumos. Kalnas turi beveik 8 km ilgio centrinę keterą, plotas užima apie 47,95 km². Lipimas į viršūnę gali užtrukti iki 5 valandų (su grįžimu). Įrengti kopimo maršrutai, kurių vienas yra 4 klasės, kitas – 5 klasės, yra daug kitų pėsčiųjų takų.[2]
1858 m. birželio 3 d. Frensis Gregoris tapo pirmuoju europiečiu, užkopusiu į kalną. Po kelių savaičių jis pavadino kalną savo brolio, keliautojo Augusto Gregorio (1819–1905) vardu.
Turistinėje ir informacinėje literatūroje Maunt Ogastasas yra plačiai minimas kaip „didžiausias pasaulyje monolitas“,[3][4] tačiau šis teiginys nėra pagrįstas geologinės ar kitos mokslinės literatūros šaltiniais. Jis daugiau nei dvigubai didesnis už Uluru,[5] stūksantį Australijos viduryje. Skirtingai nuo Uluru, kuris yra monolitas ir apskritai neturi augalinės dangos, Maunt Ogastasas apibūdinamas kaip monoklina (asimetriška antiklina). Tokios uolos sluoksniai suklostyti į arką panašią geologinę struktūrą, kuri šiaurės rytų pusėje yra statesnė nei pietvakarių.
Uolienų sudėtyje yra smėlio ir žvyro, kuriuos nuosėdų forma sunešė senovėje pietryčiuose tekėjusių upių sistema, drenavusi regioną maždaug prieš 1600 mln. metų. Vandenys srūvo per pažeidžiamą ir eroduojantį, 1800–1620 mln. metų senumo, granitinių bei metamorfinių uolienų paviršių. Upių sąnašos konsolidavosi į smiltainį ir konglomeratą, kurie vėliau buvo palaidoti po jaunesnėmis jūrinėmis nuosėdomis, susidariusiomis regione plytėjusioje seklioje jūroje prieš 1600–1070 mln. metų. Uolienos buvo įterptos į jų dabartinę struktūrą maždaug prieš 900 mln. metų, kai judėjimas išilgai tektoninių lūžių žemiau susiklosčiusių granitinių ir metamorfinių uolienų sukėlė lokalų stiprų, į šiaurės rytus nukreiptą sluoksnių suspaudimą. Smiltainį ir konglomeratą dengusios jūrinės nuosėdinės uolienos erodavo nuo Augusto kalno – dabar jos sudaro kalvas aplink Kobros (Cobra) ir Maunt Ogastaso rančas. Dėl erozijos smiltainis ir konglomeratas taip pat pasišalino iš kalno šiaurės vakarų pakraščio ties Paundu (The Pound), taip apnuogindami granito uolienas.
1894–aisiais Augusto kalne buvo kilusi aukso karštinė.[6]
Iš augalijos rūšių dominuoja akacijos (Acacia sensu lato), kasijos (Cassia) ir bervidiniai (Eremophila); tarp gyvūnų paplitę emu, raudonosios ir kalninės kengūros, varanai (Goanna) ir plėšrieji paukščiai. Ant Augusto kalno ir aplink jį sutinkama daugiau kaip 100 rūšių paukščių.[7]
