Атанасовден локално познат како Атанасоан, Танасовден претставува празник посветен на големиот христијански светител Св. Атанасиј Велики. Македонците го празнуват двапати во годината. На 31 јануари, со домашни служби, се празнува Атанасовден-зимен, како заеднички спомен на двајцата александриски архиепископи Св. Атанасиј Велики и Св. Кирил Александриски, за нивните заеднички заслуги во одбраната на православието од двете ереси: аријанството и несторијанството. Празникот народот го смета за средзимо и се верува дека главните студови веќе се поминати. Во народното верување тој е победник над силните студови и мразеви. Се празнува и на 15 мај, ден на упокојувањето на светителот, празник познат како Атанасовден-летен.[1][2]. Особен култ кон празнуваењето на Свети Атанасиј во зима (31.1.) е раширен во повеќето села во Скопско (Драчево, Шишево), додека особено раширен култ кон празнувањето на летниот Атанасовден (15.5.) има во повеќето села во Радовишко (Ораовица, Сулдурци, Дедино).
