AXN ialah saluran televisyen berbayar swasta yang dikendalikan oleh Sony Pictures Entertainment dan dilancarkan pada 21 September 1997. Saluran ini terdapat di Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Filipina, Singapura, Sri Lanka, Thailand dan Vietnam.

Berikut ini adalah perubahan nombor yang ada di AXN:
Pada tanggal 1 Disember 2001, AXN dapat boleh disaksikan melalui Astro di saluran 914 sebagai saluran pratonton.
Pada tanggal 1 Januari 2002, AXN dapat boleh disaksikan melalui Astro di saluran 15.
Pada 1 Oktober 2003, AXN telah dinomborkan semula dari saluran 15 ke saluran 17.
Pada tanggal 1 Oktober 2007, AXN akan diubah nombor memperkenalkan menjadi 3 digit iaitu 701.
Pada tanggal 16 Jun 2010, AXN dapat boleh disaksikan melalui Astro akan menambahkan siaran kualiti HD di saluran 721.
Pada tanggal 1 April 2020, AXN akan diubah nombor lagi menjadi saluran 701 untuk siaran format HD dan saluran 721 untuk siaran format SD.
Pada 25 Mac 2021, AXN telah bersiaran menerusi saluran 701 (HD) dan saluran 721 (SD) telah rasmi ditamatkan.
Pada 1 Oktober 2023, AXN telah bersiaran secara rasmi menerusi saluran 701 (HD) di platform NJOI.
