In de <a href="/nl/Oosters-orthodoxe_kerken" title="Oosters-orthodoxe kerken" class="wl">oosters-orthodoxe kerken</a> en een aantal <a href="/nl/Oosters-katholieke_kerken" title="Oosters-katholieke kerken" class="wl">oosters-katholieke kerken</a> is Goddelijke Liturgie de term die gebruikt wordt voor de heilige eucharistiedienst volgens het oosters gebruik. De benaming Byzantijnse liturgie heeft betrekking op haar oorsprong binnen de <a href="/nl/Oecumenisch_patriarchaat_van_Constantinopel" title="Oecumenisch patriarchaat van Constantinopel" class="wl">Byzantijnse Kerk</a>, maar deze aanduiding wordt door de vermelde Kerken zelf niet gebruikt.
