Zaqaziq[2] er ein by i Nedre Egypt som ligg aust i Nildeltaet. Byen er hovudstad for Sharqia guvernement, og har rundt 285 100 innbyggjarar (2004).

Zaqaziq ligg ved ei grein av Ismailiakanalen og al-Muˤizz, ein gammal nilkanal. Han er eit kuntepunkt for veg og jernbane, og eit sentrum for korn- og bomullshandel for det fruktbare jordbruksområdet rundt.
I byen ligg Universitetet i Zagaziq, som blei oppretta i 1974, og ei grein av det muslimske Al-Azhar, eitt av dei eldste universiteta i verda.
Byen er fødeplassen til Ahmed Orabi som leidde Orabi-opprøret mot europearane og khedivane i 1882. I Zaqaziq finn ein Orabi-museet tileigna han.
3 kilometer søraust for byen ligg ruinane av Bubastis, ein tidlegare egyptisk hovudstad som var sentrum for kattekulten i landet.
