Steven Severin

Steven Severin (fødd 25. september 1955 som Steven John Bailey)^[1] er ein engelsk musikar, komponist, bassist, produsent og opphavleg medlem i Siouxsie and the Banshees.^[2] Han tok namnet «Severin» frå Leopold von Sacher-Masoch-figuren som er nemnt i Velvet Underground-songen «Venus in Furs».^[2] Severin hadde tidlegare vurdert «Steve Spunker» som artistnamn. Etter at Siouxsie and the Banshees vart oppløyst i 1996 og Severin skapte sitt eige selskap RE: og gav ut ei rekkje instrumentalalbum via den offisielle nettsida si. Seint i 2000- og tidleg i 2010-åra heldt han ofte konsertar som soloartist og spelte musikk til stumfilmra.^[3]
