Bygland er det historiske sentrum i Bygland kommune i Setesdal i Agder fylke, og har gitt kommunen navn. Matrikkelgården Bygland er en av de sentrale gårdene i bygda sammen med Åkhus og Bygland prestegård. Stedet omtales gjerne lokalt som kirkebygda.[2]

Bygda Bygland ligger ved utløpet av Kvålsåna, på østsiden og nær den nordre enden av Byglandsfjorden. Tettstedet hadde 232 innbyggere pr 1. januar 2018.[3] I 2020 var folketallet sunket til under 200 og stedet tilfredsstilte ikke lenger SSBs krav til et tettsted.
Bygda er administrasjonssenteret i Bygland kommune. Her ligger også Bygland kirke, Bygland oppvekstsenter, Byglandshallen, KVS Bygland, Bygland museum, Glashytta i Setesdal, Byglandsheimen (alders- og sjukeheim), Bygland folkebibliotek, bensinstasjon og butikker.[2]
Riksvei 9 passerer Bygland sentrum ved fjorden. Fra sentrum går Jordalsvegen østover til gårdene Lidi, Jordalsbø og Skreland.[4]
