Macropods is marsupials in the faimily Macropodidae, that includes kangaroos, wallabies, tree-kangaroos, pademelons, an several ither species. Macropods bide in Australie, New Guinea, an some nearby islands.[2]

Ither species (e.g. Simosthenurus, Propleopus, Macropus titan) acame extinct efter the Austrailien Aborigines arrived an afore the Europeans arrived.
