Maykop (Roushie: Майкоп; Adyghe: Мыекъуапэ, Myequape) is the caipital ceety o the Republic o Adygea, Roushie, locatit on the richt bank o the Belaya River (a tributary o the Kuban). Population: 144,249 (2010 Census);[2] 156,931 (2002 Census);[7] 148,608 (1989 Census).[8]
