The King David Hotel is the official hotel for visiting heads of state, diplomats and other guests of the Israeli government. It is located in Jerusalem. The hotel was founded in 1931 by Egyptian Jew Ezra Mosseri. The hotel is famous for having been subject to a bombing attack in 1946 by the Zionist militant group Irgun in which 91 people died.[1]
