Michael Usi

Michael Bizwick Usi (born 16 December 1968) is a Malawian actor, playwright, musician, and politician who has served as the Vice-President of Malawi from 2024 until 2025. He became vice-president following the death of Saulos Chilima.^[1] After having served as the Minister of Tourism, Culture & Wildlife until 30 January 2023,^[2][3] He was the Minister of Natural Resources and Climate Change.^[4]

Career

Without national television in Malawi, he became popular by acting in radio plays on MBC Radio 1. After that, he started making feature films. His films talk about important issues in Malawi and show the social and political realities of life in the country.
