"Say So" is a song recorded by American rapper and singer Doja Cat. It was sent to pop radio on January 28, 2020, as a single from her second studio album, Hot Pink (2019).[2] The song became viral when it was used on the social media app TikTok. It was written by Doja Cat and Lydia Asrat, along with its producers, Dr. Luke and Yeti Beats.[3]

So far, it reached the top ten in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.[4][5][6][7][8]

On May 1, 2020, a remix of the song with Trinidadian-born American rapper Nicki Minaj was released, containing hip hop beats. Another Minaj remix was released May 8 (called the "original version"), which keeps the disco beat of the song.[9]

On May 11, 2020, Billboard announced that “Say So” had topped the Hot 100. It became both Doja’s and Minaj’s first number-one single in the US.[10] The solo version of the song reached the top of the Mainstream Top 40/Pop Songs airplay chart.[11]
