Schwechat is a city in the district of Bruck an der Leitha in the Austrian state of Lower Austria, southeast of Vienna. In 2018, 18,026 people lived there.
It is known for the Vienna International Airport and Schwechater beer.
Schwechat is named after the river Schwechat, which flows through the centre of town.
