Балакла́ва (укр.: Балаклава, крымскатат.: Balıqlava, Балыкълава) — населены пункт на паўднёва-заходнім узбярэжжы Крымскага паўвострава, да 1957 года меў статус горада, сёння ў адміністрацыйным стаўленні з’яўляецца часткай Балаклаўскага раёна Севастопаля[1], хоць фактычна і дагэтуль тэрытарыяльна аддзелены ад астатняга Севастопаля незастроеннай прасторай у некалькі кіламетраў. Па адной з версій назва горада паходзіць з турэцкай мовы[2] і перакладаецца як «рыбны мяшок»; па іншай версіі назва паходзіць з крымскататарскай мовы, на якай выраз «balıqlı ava» даслоўна азначае «рыбнае надвор’е»[3].

Балаклаўская бухта — адна з самых зручных бухт на Чорным моры[4] для швартоўкі караблёў, база падводных лодак, яна вузкая (200—400 м) і глыбокая (да 17 м), у ёй не бывае штармоў. Пры ўваходзе ў бухту скалісты бераг робіць некалькі паваротаў, таму з боку адкрытага мора гавань наогул не бачная.
Зараз Балаклава з’яўляецца папулярным крымскім курортам. Турыстаў прыцягвае не толькі горад з старажытнай гісторыяй і вялікай колькасцю помнікаў, але і навакольныя пляжы, куды можна дабрацца на катэрах, і маляўнічыя скалы ў мыса Ая з гротамі.
