Barcelona (Catalan: [bəɾsəˈlonə] (listen), Spanish: [baɾθeˈlona]) is a province of eastern Spain, in the center of the autonomous community of Catalonia. The province is bordered by the provinces of Tarragona, Lleida, and Girona, and by the Mediterranean Sea.
