Tobias Anton "Toby" Roth Sr. (born October 10, 1938) is a retired American businessman, lobbyist, and Republican politician from Appleton, Wisconsin. He served 18 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Wisconsin's 8th congressional district from 1979 to 1997.[1][2] He previously served three terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly (1973–1979). His nephew, Roger Roth, was president of the Wisconsin Senate and is a current candidate for Congress in 2024.
