Counting of votes was on 4 June 2024.^[9] In 2024 election, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate K Anil Kumar defeated Biju Janata Dal candidate Ramesh Chandra Chyau Patnaik by a margin of 18,709 votes.^[6]
