Alpha Phi Omega is a coeducational collegiate service fraternity, founded at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania in 1925.[1] It has active chapters at over 350 colleges and universities.[2] Alpha Phi Omega also has several extension efforts, which are groups that are preparing to become active chapters. Such groups initially begin as an interest group, then become petitioning groups before gaining (or regaining) their charter and becoming active chapters. Alpha Phi Omega organizes its U.S. chapters into eighteen geographical regions that are designated with letters.
