Compare Proto-Sino-Tibetan *r-kja-ŋ (foot) (STEDT), whence Tibetan རྐང་པ (rkang pa, foot; leg; stem; stalk).

(OC *ɡeːŋs, “lower leg”) is also compared to the above Proto-Sino-Tibetan lemma.
