Erich HECKEL (naskiĝinta la 31-an de julio 1883 en Döbeln, mortinta la 27-an de januaro 1970 en Radolfzell am Bodensee) estis germana pentristo kaj grafikisto, kaj unu el la plej gravaj reprezentantoj de la germana Ekspresionismo. Li anis ĉe Berlina secesio.

Heckel studis en Dresdeno arkitekturon. Tiel li ankaŭ fondis en 1905 kune kun Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Fritz Bleyl kaj Karl Schmidt-Rottluff la grupon Die Brücke. Kiel Vincent van Gogh kaj aliaj faŭvistoj - kiuj al Heckel estis modeldonaj - li pentris la verkojn per helaj kaj puraj koloroj. Liaj motivoj estis preferite nudulojn, portretojn kaj pejzaĝojn. Temo ĉiam revenante estis la mondo de la cirko.
En 1911 li transloĝiĝis al Berlino, kie la pentromaniero lia iĝis pli geometria, la kompozicia arto pli malronda kaj severa - kaj la koloraro pli malhela. Post malfondo de Die Brücke (1913) liaj verkoj perdis dramecon. De 1915 ĝis 1918 li soldatis en Flandrujo.
Post la Unua mondmilito li revenis al Berlino kaj vojaĝis la sekvintajn jarojn tra Germanio, Italio kaj Franclando. De la nazioj li estis ege malŝatita; tial li vivis ekde 1944 ĉe la Konstanca lago, najbare al Otto Dix en Gaifenhofen-Hemmenhofen. Inter 1949 kaj 1955 li profesoris ĉe la Artoakademio de Karlsruhe.
Krom pentraĵoj li postlasis multon da ligna gravuraĵoj, litrografioj kaj akvafortojn.
