Jaan Eilart (24. juuni 1933 Pala küla, Kirna vald, Türi kihelkond, Järvamaa – 18. mai 2006) oli eesti biogeograaf, maastikuökoloog ja kultuuriloolane.
Jaan Eilart sündis Reegla talus Hans ja Alma Eilarti esimese pojana.
Ta õppis Kirna mõisas tegutsenud Kirna Algkoolis, mille lõpetas 1946. aastal. Pärast Türi Keskkooli lõpetamist õppis ta aastatel 1952–1956 Eesti Põllumajanduse Akadeemias metsamajandust ja Tartu Riiklikus Ülikoolis bioloogiat (lõpetas TRÜ 1957 cum laude).
1957. aastal asuti tema eestvedamisel Tartu Riiklikus Ülikoolis õpetama looduskaitset õppeainena, aine õppejõud oli Jaan Eilart ise.
1958. aastal asutas ta Tartu Üliõpilaste Looduskaitseringi (TÜLKR), väidetavalt maailma vanima üliõpilaste looduskaitseühenduse.[1]
1966. aastal asutati tema eestvedamisel Eesti Looduskaitse Selts, mille tegevesimees oli ta ise kuni 1988. aastani, esimees aastatel 1988–1996 ja aseesimees aastast 1997.
1969. aastal juhtis Jaan Eilart Lahemaa rahvuspargi, mis oli rahvuspargina Nõukogude Liidus esimene, rajamist ning osales hiljem juhendajana ka Komi, Armeenia ja Tadžikistani rahvusparkide loomisel.
1978. aastal valiti ta Rahvusvahelise Looduskaitseliidu (IUCN) Ida-Euroopa Komitee presidendiks. Teaduskonverentsid ja seminarid viisid Jaan Eilarti rohkem kui 60 riiki.[2]
Temalt ilmus üle 1000 looduskaitsealase, kultuuri- ja kodu-uurimisalase ning teaduskirjutise.
Jaan Eilart kuulus koos Voldemar Panso, August Sanga, Karl Adra, Juhan Smuuli, Friedebert Tuglase ja teistega oma kaasaegsete eesti kultuuritegelaste sõpruskonda, kellega koos käidi ajaloolistel kultuuri- ja loodusmatkadel.[3]
Kirikuõpetaja Anton Eilart oli Jaan Eilarti onu. Ajakirjanik Andres Eilart on Jaan Eilarti vennapoeg.
