Aras edo Araz edo Araxes[1] (persieraz: ارس, armenieraz: Արաքս, azerbaijaneraz: Araz) Kaukasoko ibaia da. Turkiako Erzurum probintzian jaio, Turkia eta Armeniaren arteko muga egiten du, aurrerago Turkia eta Nakhitxevanen (Azerbaijan) artekoa, ondoren Iran eta Nakhitxevanen artekoa, gero Iran eta Armeniaren artekoa, aurrerago Iran eta Azerbaijanen artekoa eta, azkenik, Azerbaijanen sartuta, Sabirabad hiritik hurbil Kura ibaira isurtzen da. Kuraren ibaiadar nagusia Aras da. Elkargunean arroa (102.000 km²) Kurarena (86.000 km²) baino zabalagoa da.
