Som musikar har ho spelt mykje med ektemannen Marc Savoy og Michael Doucet i Savoy Doucet Cajun Band. Ho har òg vore medlem av kvinnebandet The Magnolia Sisters. Ho har òg spelt i lag med ektemannen Marc og sønene, Joel og Wilson, i The Savoy Family Band. I seinare tid har ho drive eit Django Reinhardt-aktig swing-band kalla Ann Savoy and her Sleepless Knights.

Savoy var med som musikar i filmen Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood og var musikalsk leiar for filmen All The King's Men, der ho arbeidde i lag med T Bone Burnett. Ho har delteke i fleire dokumentarfilmar om Cajunmusikk.

Ho har spelt inn ei rekkje album, mellom anna Adieu False Heart i lag med Linda Rontadt i 2006. Dette albumet var første gongen Savoy song på engelsk.^[4]
