David Hungate

William David Hungate (fødd 5. august 1948) er ein bassist, produsent og arrangør, og kjend som medlem av Toto frå 1977 til 1982, og sidan 2014.^[1] I lag med dei fleste av kollegaene sine i Toto, spelte Hungate som studiomusikar på ei rekkje hitalbum i 1970-åra, som Boz Scaggs sitt Silk Degrees og Alice Cooper sitt From the Inside.

Hungate spelte på dei fire første platene til Toto. Han slutta i bandet kort tid etter Toto IV for å fortsette ein karriere som studiomusikar i NashvilleNashville. Hungate, som speler mange instrument som gitar, trompet, trommer og piano, har arrangert, produsert og spelt inn musikk med mange countryartistar, som Chet Atkins. Han var òg medlem i AOR-supergruppa Mecca i lag med Joe Vana og Fergie Frederiksen. I 1990 gav han ut eit soloalbum kalla Souvenir. I 1995 spelte Hungate bass på alle songane på Shania Twain-albumet The Woman in Me.^[2]
