John Gustafson

John Gustafson, kjend som Gus Gustafson og Johnny Gustafson (fødd John Frederick Gustafson, 8. august 1942 i Liverpool) er ein engelsk bassist og vert sagt å vere den viktigaste bassisten frå Liverpool etter Paul McCartney. Han har spelt med 60-talsbanda The Big Three og The Merseybeats og var kjend for å synge i den originale innspelinga av Jesus Christ Superstar som apostelen Simon. Han har delteke på Roger Glover-songen «Watch Out For The Bat Now» som vokalist. Han er truleg mest kjend for å ha spelt bass i fleire inkarnasjonar av Ian Gillan Band og progrockbandet Quatermass. Han var òg med i ei ny utgåve av The Pirates, som var det opphavlege backingbandet til Johnny Kidd.^[1] Gustafson spelte òg på fire av dei tidlege albuma til Roxy Music, inkludert den einaste amerikanske hitsingelen deira, «Love Is The Drug».
