Uzbečtina (O‘zbek tili alebo O'zbekcha v latinke, Ўзбек тили alebo Ўзбекча v cyrilike; أۇزبېك ﺗﻴﻠی v arabskom písme) je turkický jazyk a úradný jazyk Uzbekistanu. Hovorí ním približne 23,5 miliónov ľudí v Uzbekistane a inde v Strednej Ázii. Uzbečtina má najbližšie k ujgurčine. Bola ovplyvňovaná perzštinou, arabčinou a ruštinou.

V Spoločenstve nezávislých štátov hovorí rôznymi nárečiami uzbečtiny približne 24,7 milióna ľudí. V Uzbekistane 21 miliónov ľudí hovorí uzbečtinou ako svojím materinským jazykom. Ďalších 1,2 milióna v Tadžikistane, 1 milión v Afganistane, 550 tisíc v Kirgizsku, 332 tisíc v Kazachstane a 320 tisíc v Turkménsku.
V dôsledku vplyvu islamu sú v jazyku slová z arabčiny. Počas nadvlády Ruskej ríše a éry Sovietskeho zväzu prenikli do jazyka prvky ruštiny. Väčšina arabských slov prenikla do uzbečtiny cez perzštinu.
Pred rokom 1928 uzbečtina, ako väčšina stredoázijských jazykov, používala arabské písmo. Medzi rokmi 1928 a 1940 sa uzbečtina písala latinkou podľa vzoru všetkých turkických jazykov. V roku 1940 sa presadila azbuka pod nátlakom Josifa Stalina. Tá sa oficiálne používala do roku 1992, ale následne bola znovu zavedená latinka. Napriek tomu sa dodnes vo veľkom používa azbuka, predovšetkým zo zvyku a z praktických dôvodov.
