Ixia scillaris

Ixia scillaris is 'n meerjarige onvertakte kruid, blomplant en geofiet wat tot die genus Ixia behoort en deel van die fynbos is.^[1][2] Die spesie word tot 50 cm hoog met 'n stingelknol. Die 7 tot 25 blomme is pienk tot persrooi, soms wit of rooipers, word op 'n yl bloeiwyse gedra en is welriekend.

Die spesie is endemies aan die Noord-Kaap en Wes-Kaap en kom in Namakwaland suidwaarts vanaf Springbok tot in die Clanwilliam-gebied op klipperige hellings, asook wydverspreid in die Suidwes-Kaap voor.^[3]
