Атык (ад стар.-грэч.: ἀττικός — што паходзіць з Атыкі[1]) — сценка пад карнізам, якая завяршае будынак і мае дэкаратыўнае значэнне. Часам адпавядае невысокаму паверху (т.зв.атыкавы паверх). Узнік у архітэктуры Старажытнай Грэцыі, пашыраны ў Старажытным Рыме ў выглядзе высокай сценкі, якая завяршала трыўмфальную арку і афармлялася рэльефамі або надпісамі. Выкарыстоўваўся ў архітэктуры готыкі, найбольш шырока — у архітэктуры Адраджэння, барока, класіцызму. Асноўныя разнавіднасці атыка: суцэльны, балюстрадны, аркадны, грабеньчаты, шчытавы. На Беларусі вядомы з 16 стагоддзя ў рэнесансавых палацах, грамадскіх будынках, храмах. Пашыраны ў 1950-я гады ў архітэктуры жылых і грамадскіх пабудоў.
