မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအသင်းသည် ၂၀၀၀ နွေရာသီ အိုလံပစ်ပြိုင်ပွဲသို့ ဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ ထိုပွဲသည် ၂၀၀၀ပြည့်နှစ် စက်တင်ဘာ ၁၅ရက်နေ့မှ အောက်တိုဘာ ၁ရက်နေ့အထိ ဩစတြေးလျနိုင်ငံ၊ ဆစ်ဒနီမြို့တွင် ကျင်းပခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအိုလံပစ်ကော်မတီအနေဖြင့် အမျိုးသား ၂ဦးနှင့် အမျိုးသမီး ၅ဦးပါဝင်သော မြန်မာအားကစားအဖွဲ့ကိုစေလွှတ်ကာ အားကစားနည်း ၄မျိုးတွင် ယှဉ်ပြိုင်စေခဲ့သည်။ သို့သော်လည်း ဆုတံဆိပ် ဆွတ်ခူးနိုင်ခြင်း မရှိခဲ့ပေ။ ဖွင့်ပွဲအခမ်းအနားတွင် အလံကိုင်ဆောင်သူမှာ ပြေးခုန်ပစ်အားကစားနည်းမှ မောင်မောင်ငယ်ဖြစ်သည်။
