Don Edward Fagenson (fødd 13. september 1952), kjend som Don Was, er ein USA-amerikansk musikar, plateprodusent og platedirektør. Han spelte sjølv hovudsakleg bass og var med å skipe funkrockbandet Was (Not Was). I seinare år produserte han songar og album for mange populære aritstar. I 2012 vart han direktør for jazzselskapet Blue Note Records.
Han produserte fleire album for Bonnie Raitt, inkludert Nick of Time i 1989, som vann Grammyprisen for årets album i USA. Han samarbeidde òg med Ziggy Marley, på Family Time, som vann årets beste barnealbum i 2009. Han produserte The Rolling Stones-albumet Blue and Lonesome, som vann Grammyprisen for beste tradisjonelle bluesalbum. For Rolling Stones, produserte han òg albuma Voodoo Lounge, Stripped, Bridges to Babylon, Forty Licks, Live Licks og A Bigger Bang.
Was produserte The B-52's-albumet Cosmic Thing, med hitten «Love Shack».
