ഗ്രാഫിയം

കിളിവാലൻ ശലഭങ്ങളിലെ പ്രധാനമായും മധ്യരേഖാപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ജനുസാണ് ഗ്രാഫിയം (Graphium). നൂറോളം സ്പീഷിസുകൾ ഈ ജനുസിൽ ഉണ്ട്. കാണുന്ന ഇടങ്ങളുടെ സ്വഭാവമനുസരിച്ച് ഇവയുടെ നിറങ്ങളിൽ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാവാറുണ്ട്. ചില അംഗങ്ങൾക്ക് വാളുപൊലെയുള്ള വാലുകൾ ഉണ്ട്. ചെളിയൂറ്റുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ ഇവരിൽ പലരെയും കാണാറുണ്ട്. നല്ല വലിപ്പവും ഭംഗിയുമുള്ളതിനാൽ ഈ ജനുസിലെ പലസ്പീഷിസുകളെയും ശലഭശേഖരണക്കാർ പിടിക്കാറുണ്ട്.
