Victor Feldman

Victor Stanley Feldman (7. april 1934–12. mai 1987) var ein engelsk jazzmusikar som hovudsakleg spelte piano, vibrafon og perkusjon. Han byrja å spele profesjonelt alt i barndommen og vart etter kvart ein respektert musikar i det britiske jazzmiljøet som vaksen. Feldman flytta til USA i midten av 1950-åra, der han arbeidde innan jazz, men òg som studiomusikar for ei rekkje pop- og rockartistar.

I tillegg til karrieren innan jazz, spelte Feldmann med artistar som Frank Zappa i 1967, Steely Dan og Joni Mitchell i 1970-åra og Tom Waits og Joe Walsh i 1980-åra. Feldman spelte perkusjon på Steely Dan-songen «Do It Again», som gjev songen ein latinamerikansk rytme.

Feldman døydde av hjarteinfarkt i 1987 i heimen sin i Los Angeles, 53 år gammal, etter eit astma-anfall.^[1]

I 2009 vart han innlemma i Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum i Nashville.^[2]
