  1. (essive sense) as a, being a
    turista (tourist) + -kéntturistaként (as a tourist)
    Turistaként jártam először Budapesten.I visited Budapest for the first time as a tourist.
    orvos (doctor) + -kéntorvosként (as a doctor)
    Péter orvosként dolgozik.Peter works as a doctor.
    olvasott (read, that which has been read) + -kéntolvasottként (as read)
    Jelölés olvasottként.Mark[ing] as read.
  2. (formal sense) like a, similar to a
    futótűz (wildfire) + -kéntfutótűzként (like wildfire)

Usage notes

  • It has no harmonic variants. The same form is used with both back-vowel and front-vowel words. It does not change the final vowels.
More information case, back vowel a, á, o, ó, u, ú ...

1 Stem-final -a/-e changes to -á-/-é-, respectively, except before -ként.
